11:01 am: Proud of the BBC
Having failed to realise that today was the first day of strikes at the BBC, I found myself baffled and bewildered to find myself listening to a piece on cheap living. Initially I assumed it to be a Today piece, but after five minutes of somewhat languid debate I released that it was probably a recorded replacement. Which made me wonder about the ethics of repeating a recording made by staff who are on strike and whether listening to them involved crossing some sort of virtual picket.

Not wanting to chance my karma, I decided to eschew listening to the radio and instead try to catch up on things that I'd neglected while I was away. And that's how I stumbled across Neil Gaiman's link to Mitch Benn's crowd-sourced Proud of the BBC video:
